My design experience began in local newspapers, but my love for graphic design was sparked back in high school. Starting with advertisement design and pre-press, I adapted to working in a fast paced environment dictated by hard deadlines. Next, I dove into the newspaper and magazine layout (designing magazines was always a dream of mine!) which allowed me the opportunity to work with photographers and handle creative direction for magazine covers and feature stories. In addition, freelancing gives me the opportunity to work on a wide range of other fun projects including album artwork, logos and wedding invitations - just to mention a few!

2002 kicked off my venture into yoga. Like a lot of people, I followed it on my tv in the living room. Over the years I came back and did some flows here and there, but it was at a yoga philosophy workshop in 2011 where it hit me like a ton of bricks: yoga was exactly where I needed to be, but the timing wasn't right. In 2016 I decided to really jump into the practice of yoga. Needing something in my life for me... a place to feel peace, to be better connected to my body and mind... I joined a hot yoga studio. After the first session, I was hooked. About a year and half later, I enrolled in a yoga teacher training program and it's one of the best decisions I ever made. Helping people connect with their body and mind through yoga is something I truly love to do <3
